Though many of us still have snow on our lawns, and all of us will undoubtedly get more snow before this month is done, the gardening world has begun spring preparations! Last Friday I was able to go out and cut down all the plants I didn’t get to last [...] Smith’s Marketplace is currently in the process of clearing out all of their trees and shrubs. This means all landscape trees and shrubs are 30% off! I went there this morning and was able to buy a 5 gallon, very tall, Purple Robe Locust tree (Robinia x ambigua ‘Purple Robe’), regularly $59, for only $41! [...] The Garden Center Sales at Smith’s Marketplace have been pretty much staying the same throughout the past few weeks, but this week they do have a few items on an even better sale: 6-pack Flowering Annuals are 2 for $5 (That’s down from 3 for $9) 4″ pot Flowering Annuals are $1 (previously $1.19) [...] Things are pretty much the same, pricewise, in the garden centers, but there were a few things worth mentioning: 4.5″ pot Zonal Geraniums 2 for $5 Topsy Turvy Tomato Planter $7.99 (reg. $14.99)
