Red Butte Garden    300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City (801)585-0556 With over 100 acres including display and natural gardens, walking paths and natural areas with hiking trails, Red Butte Garden is the largest botanical garden in the Intermountain West that tests, displays, and interprets regional  horticulture.

Temple Square    50 West South Temple, Salt Lake City

Temple Square features world-renowned gardens that include 250 flowerbeds, more than 165,000 bedding plants, and over 700 varieties of plants from all over the world. The design of these gardens varies from formal French parterres to old-fashioned English cottage gardens, giant Victorian flower baskets, and other garden areas featuring drought-tolerant plants native to our western deserts.

9 am- 9 pm daily.  Admission is free!

Most guests agree that the Thanksgiving Point Gardens are the biggest surprise that Thanksgiving  Point has to offer. Spread out over fifty five sprawling acres, they represent some of the most vivacious  terrain in the West. The individual gardens are organized like the rooms of an immense estate, with  thousands of trees, shrubs and grasses serving as living barriers between spaces, creating a sense of  wonder as guests pass from “room” to “room.” Within the grounds, there are 15 separate themed  gardens.
